Tag & Tibby was founded in 2013 to share Julia’s love of budget-friendly decor and home design ideas. She has grown traffic to pageviews, averaging over 30k a month, with Google & Pinterest being the biggest traffic drivers to the site. The website is monetized with ads through Mediavine and affiliate sales (Amazon, Like to Know It, CJ Affiliate).

Julia built the original website in Squarespace and had the site transferred to Wordpress in 2023.

Julia was hired to write creative content articles for brands including Hobby Lobby, Logitech, Tuesday Morning, FrogTape, Scotch, World Market, Sherwin-Williams, and Hunter Fan. She hosted paid in-person craft workshops at World Market and with Skillpop.

Her content has been featured in the Hunter Fan catalog, Charlotte Observer, and Somerset Home Magazine. Tag & Tibby content has been featured online by Better Homes & Gardens, Country Living, Domino, and Good Housekeeping.
She was named a Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker in 2023 and 2024.
